MemoSweep Privacy Policy

1. Data Processing Overview

MemoSweep is designed to scan and clean unnecessary files on your device, such as ad caches, obsolete APK files, residual data, and temporary files. All processing occurs locally on your device. The App does not collect, transmit, or store personal data on our servers. However, limited data may be shared with third-party platforms (for analytics, attribution, or crash reporting) as described below.

2. Data We May Process

We may process the following categories of information when you consent to analytics:

• Technical information: Device model, OS version, app version, and crash logs.
• Usage analytics (if enabled): Anonymous statistics regarding app use (e.g., session duration, frequency).
• Attribution data (if enabled): Anonymous identifiers for install tracking.

We do not process content files, personal identifiers (such as names, email addresses, contacts), or location data.

3. Third-Party Platforms

MemoSweep may integrate or interact with third-party services solely to improve app stability, performance, and attribution measurement. These may include:

• Firebase (Google LLC) — for app analytics and crash reports.
• Attribution Platform (e.g., AppsFlyer, Adjust) — for anonymous install source tracking.
• Data Analysis Platform (e.g., Google Analytics for Firebase) — for anonymous usage insights.

These third parties may collect limited technical data under their respective privacy policies. No personally identifiable information (PII) is shared with them.

4. Legal Basis for Processing

We process data based on the following legal grounds:

• Consent: When you explicitly agree to share analytics or diagnostic data.
• Legitimate Interests: To ensure app stability and detect technical issues.
• Legal Obligations: To comply with applicable data protection laws or respond to lawful requests.

5. Data Retention

All data processed locally by MemoSweep (such as scan results and temporary files) are deleted immediately after cleanup or upon app uninstallation. For optional analytics data, third-party platforms (e.g., Firebase) may retain aggregated, anonymized logs for up to 24 months, as required for diagnostic purposes.

  You may restrict or object to certain data processing activities, such as analytics or attribution tracking.

  You have the right to know whether your data has been shared with any third party and for what purpose.
• f. Data Sale Disclosure
  We do not sell any user data. If applicable law considers analytics data a "sale," you may opt out as described below.

8. Opt-Out of Data Sharing or Sale

You can opt out of analytics and attribution tracking at any time by:

• Turning off analytics within the app's Settings > Privacy section (if available).

Upon receipt, we will stop sharing your data with any third-party platform and instruct those platforms to delete previously shared data when applicable.

9. Complaints

If you believe your privacy rights have been violated, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority or regulatory body. You may also contact our DPO first — we are committed to resolving all issues promptly and transparently.

10. Data Security

MemoSweep implements technical and organizational measures to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse, including encryption, anonymization, and on-device isolation.

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect new features, third-party integrations, or legal requirements. The updated version will always be available within the app or on our official website.
